Functional property of Tea, Vitamin C

Vitamin C is also found in tea, especially in green tea, and not in fermented teas like oolong and black tea. Green tea also contains a lot of vitamin C immediately after production, but in commercially available teas, vitamin C is oxidized during the finishing process and other processes. In general, 100 grams of tea contains 100-250 mg of vitamin C. It is said that drinking the first 10 cups of sencha tea is enough to cover the daily requirement of vitamin C.

This vitamin C is known to be a scavenger of various oxygen radicals. It is also known that vitamin C prevents the formation of nitrosamines, which are carcinogens.

Tawara Natural Farm uses natural farming methods to grow tea in an environment as close to nature as possible, without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
